Mission

BBFA's mission is to enable the collaborative implementation and operation of federated identity & access management for employees and customers across UK industry sectors and with government organisations, using industry investment.

To achieve this mission requires BBFA to

  • Establish collaborative governance to oversee federation
  • Establish policies, procedures and mechanisms for federation
  • Establish a collaborative Concept of Operations and a Commercial Model
  • Implement and operate national federation capabilities through certified third parties
